The Shortest Nights is a BIFA-qualifying short film festival that showcases the best in up-and-coming British filmmaking talent. Returning to Castle Sidcup on 5th and 6th September, this year’s festival programme spans comedy, drama, animation, horror and family films, so there’s something for everyone. Every programme of short films is curated to offer an entertaining and inspiring insight into the different facets of new British cinema. Each screening includes a special introduction by the festival director, and is followed by a Q&A and award presentation.
